An Equinox Honoring for Collective Liberation & “What’s My Job?” Gathering!
These are wild times. Uncertainty is a daily vibe, and new stressors about our changing cultural landscape are up for people as everything from our jobs/work, our resources, and ways of living are and will continue to change.
Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson recently invited us to host a “What’s my Job?” party, rather than fall into despair and paralysis. Many of us are still unsure where to put our energies and how to show up. Let us take the time of equinox balancing to come together in community and look at our skills, abilities, desires, resources and vision to see what we can contribute, build and do in this rapidly changing cultural landscape. We will talk about some of the collective organizing tools we can employ in service to liberation. What are our roles in this time? It is not the same for each of us. It is up to each of us to strategize and plug in where we can be most useful.
This is a connective and visioning experience where we can counter our complacency or despair with community, care and action. Let’s energize ourselves to show up and speak out, to stand together for the vision of the world we see. Let’s talk about who we want to be in these times when we are all called to come forward with our gifts.
