REGISTER NOW

Experience an inner journey to the heart with this 3 hour Dharma Yoga immersion; a complete practice including pranayama, asana, and yoga nidra. Dharma Yoga is a devotional practice that encourages a balance of both strength and flexibility, moving the prana, recharging the body and mind. The method weaves together many teachings in order to bring all students closer to the goal of Self-realization. Modifications and variations are given to make the practice accessible to all. A short talk on the koshas is included at the end of the immersion. Pam will share her personal experience on the path and how we can take the practice off the mat and into the world. She is honored to share the way.

Pam Jones was born and raised in London. She started her Yoga journey in 2006 and took classes as a way of relieving stress whilst working in the demanding fashion industry. Having been trained as a dancer in her early years, she loved the physicality of yoga but soon realized there was so much more.

On a fortuitous day in 2007 she walked into a small studio in New York City and found her Guru Sri Dharma Mittra. A few months later she moved to NYC to study with him and has never looked back. She believes that all can practice yoga and by constant practice one will develop not only a strong and flexible body but more importantly an inner kind of strength and flexibility of mind. Through the practice one can eventually settle the mind and realize our Divine essence within.

She also teaches daily at the Dharma yoga Center in NYC whilst serving as a mentor for the Life of a Yogi’ teacher trainings. She hopes to inspire others to keep practicing so that they can reach their fullest potential and to keep spreading kindness everywhere.

Pam is a 200hr, 500hr (RYT), 800hr certified Dharma Yoga teacher and a certified Ayurvedic Counselor (AADP).  She studied Ayurveda with Dr Naina Marballi and Marma Therapy with DrVasant Lad. She has led many International Yoga and Ayurveda/Raw foods workshops.
