Creating Your Kula: Forming the Foundations with Yourself, Your Surroundings, and Your People

Step into a weekend that transforms yoga from a solo practice into a living, breathing experience of human connection. This immersive training invites you to move, breathe, and grow in community by discovering how self‑awareness on the mat becomes the foundation for powerful relationships off of it.

Through heart‑opening flows, collective breathwork, and real‑world teaching lessons, you’ll learn to create classes that feel less like workouts and more like belonging.

Every session is designed to dissolve isolation, spark authentic interaction, and give you the tools to build a studio culture where every student feels seen and supported. By Sunday afternoon, you won’t just understand Kula; you will have lived it, composed it, and be ready to bring it home to your own tribe.

Meet Lydia Williams

Lydia has been an avid yogi since the mid-2000s, enjoying the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of a continued practice.

Lydia is a Vinyasa-based teacher with a focus on movement and breath, but she often incorporates strength and stretching poses into her classes, paying special attention to the varying needs of her students.

Yoga is for everyone. It’s not about being “good” at something; it’s about your personal journey. Consequently, Lydia welcomes each student’s individualized practice and strives to be inclusive and nurturing in her instruction.
