The Art of Yin Yoga
With Crista Chavez
Deepen your understanding of the quieter side of yoga.
Together we’ll explore the philosophy behind Yin Yoga, functional anatomy, fascia, joint health, meridian pathways, and the energetic effects of long-held postures.
Through practice, posture analysis, sequencing, and teaching methodology, you will develop the skills necessary to confidently teach Yin Yoga while deepening your own relationship with stillness and embodied practice.
Training & Certification Details
This weekend immersion is designed for maximum flexibility. You do not need to be enrolled in the full Teacher Training program to attend; it is open to all dedicated practitioners.
- Embodied Core Studies: Deep dive into fascia tissue, energy meridians, and sequencing theory.
- Continuing Education: Eligible for Yoga Alliance YACEP hours.
- Teacher Certification: Counts as one module toward your RYT 200, 300, or 500.
- Studio Benefit: Includes a one-month unlimited membership at Nirguna Yoga.

What is Yin Yoga? (Practice & Lecture) & Community Potluck
Open to the greater community. Come explore the theory of yin, enjoy a practice, and stay for a shared community potluck meal. No sign-up required.

Fascia & The 5 Yin Archetypes
An intensive focus on functional anatomy, exploring connective tissues, joints, and the foundational physical archetypes of a sustainable yin practice.
Sunday, July 12 | 10:00am – 5:00pm
History of Yin & Working with the Elements
Delving into the history of the practice, traditional meridian lines, and methods for integrating elemental energetics and teaching methodology.
